Okay so, I'm back to Bangalore, it's around 1100 hours, sunny and hot, Arpan's texting somebody, you know who.
I'm now practically done with college, and I can't believe it. Thanks to everybody whom I met on campus, it was a fun ride.
Getting back to business, this one is gonna be on the remaining month of December, 2022. I'm kinda confused where do I start? Okay, let's do IISM first.
IISERB hosted the IISM 2022, and it was my first month there. Absolutely goated stuff. Also, the FIFA WC finals were this month, again, banger timing. Coming to IISM, it's a crazy experience, both as a player and spectator. Talking of spectatorship, IISERB tops out on the experience. We are probably the most passionate players as well as spectators, the hooting was unreal, the lines were impeccably abusive, amazing. I still remember how we used to bunk classes to go watch the kabaddi matches, Anoushka and Rashi should remember. I met Yash (Choudhary) during this time, through Ano, Rohit as well. Anjuman was another one from the Enthuzia team I met, from 19 batch. Gosh, it was so fun back then. We were divided into teams of 'Associates' for PR, Soc Med, etc, etc. Gupta was in the Soc Med team. I don't know if he remembers, or if Rakshith remembers, we both were interviewed at Crescent at the small opening of sorts between the two staircase complexes, late in the night, after which we both went to eat Tayyab rolls. Veg Roll, 70 Rs, one by two. We were blown away by how good they were, really.
Even though there's a lot of negativity around Enthuzia'23, I still regard it as one of the best experiences I had at IISERB, majorly because everybody I met through this one thing was really amazing, all seniors, and batchmates. It was just, fun and nice. You hardly can hate on things which got you pretty people even though the things themselves were shit. Nilu, who worked alongside me in the PR team, was another interesting ass I met. Also, he was so gol matol back then. I did meet Aarya (Gupta) but hardly had much interaction, she was damn introverted back then.
I'm also really sorry for the delay on this one, had been tightly busy with too much work. Managing my internship and thesis was just really hard. Now that I'm free of one, I do plan to write down more regularly, also thinking of starting one on my school life. Let's see how that goes.
As I write this, my speaker is blasting Every Breath You Take, nice song. Did I tell y'all about the Lalghati trip? Oh dude, the best ever. So it was a random day near the end of December where I decided to go to Lalghati with a bunch of friends, so many friends actually. We were all gonna skip lunch and just meet at ideation to gather up, go to gate and pick the bus. Meanwhile, Raman was returning, he was prolly going to lunch, he had a class after that. I asked bro if he'd wanna come along and he actually decided to skip both lunch and class. I also made Raman literally run till gate so we don't miss the bus. And I have so many pics of those. If Anoushka and Yash remember, we first stopped at Choupaty in Lalghati, and we went ahead and ate like a few metric tons of food. Swarda was there, Nilu, Sanad, Sweta, Kritika Pahilajani, Rohit, Rashi, APS, Raman, Harshida, it was just a nice bunch of people. We had a stop at the lake, we hung out there, clicked a shit ton of pictures. It was also mid IISM and Gupta denied coming with us because he had to cover IISM on cam, probably one of the dumbest decisions he made. What else, oh yeah, guess what, the return bus dropped us at Chirayu Hospital, and now we had to wait for the next bus for us to drop till campus. We even clicked pictures there. I actually need to sit down and clear up my gallery now that college has ended for me. I am planning to put the nice ones on in here, slowly in the next blogs. I also have a lot of embarrassing pics of a lot of people. So if any junior wants embarrassing pics of their seniors just hit me up. Actually, this kinda sums up the rest of the month. Majorly. Jan was even more interesting. Will try to post all of the rest of sem one in next blog, whenever I find time. Sorry for this short one though. I just really wanted to post this one.
This month we also celebrated Sammy's birthday in mess 3, which was veg mess back then. If APS, Divyasha, Gupta, Swarda remember, we all went on a small excursion into the campus bushes really late in the night, randomly. I'm gonna push in the Sammy budday photo and a random Gupta on IISM duty photo today, here.
I think this is all I can recollect right now, for this time. Will keep on adding as and when I remember.
Cheers,
Patel.
